Restore Balance with Personalized Hormone Therapy
Why do you need hormone replacement?
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be important for a variety of reasons, particularly when the body’s natural hormone levels decline or become imbalanced. Here are some of the key reasons why it might be important:
1. Menopause and Perimenopause
In women, as they approach menopause, the production of estrogen and progesterone decreases, leading to symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, and sleep disturbances. HRT helps by replacing these hormones, easing many of these symptoms, and improving quality of life.
2. Osteoporosis Prevention
Estrogen plays a significant role in maintaining bone density. After menopause, women are at higher risk for osteoporosis (a condition where bones become weak and brittle). HRT can help maintain bone health and reduce the risk of fractures.
3. Testosterone Decline in Men
In men, testosterone levels naturally decline as they age, typically starting around the age of 30. Low testosterone can result in symptoms like fatigue, reduced libido, decreased muscle mass, and mood changes. Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) helps to restore these levels, improving energy, mood, and sexual function.
4. Thyroid Imbalance
Thyroid hormones are crucial for regulating metabolism, energy production, and overall organ function. If the thyroid is underactive (hypothyroidism), hormone replacement (usually in the form of synthetic thyroid hormones) can restore normal thyroid function and alleviate symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, and depression.
5. Mood and Mental Health
Hormones like estrogen and testosterone have a significant impact on mood and mental well-being. Imbalances can contribute to symptoms of depression, anxiety, and irritability. Replacing or adjusting hormones can often lead to improvements in mood and mental clarity.
How our program works:
A patient new to hormones with Glow will receive a full evaluation and hormone assessment. Every patient will receive a Functional Health report by OptimalDX showing hormones deficiency and other areas of the body that are not optimized ($99 vaue). Initial consult $199.
After the initial consult:
Patient will meet with Glow and discuss findings and suggestions for hormones and other nutrients and supplements. Then, the provider will send labs to CPL. Patient can pay $280 for one-time labs or $500 for labs for the year. If patient decides to do one-time labs, patient will be responsible for follow-up labs at $125 each. Returning yearly lab patients pay $280 for extensive panel of labs or $500/year.
(The patient can file insurance for labs. Any unexpected costs to patient is not the responsibility of the provider. It is likely that insurance will not cover this panel of extensive labs).
After labs come back, the patient will meet with the provider to go over the plan for hormones, medications, and supplements. Once the patient decides to move forward with ordering medications, the patient will be charged $99/ month
Includes:
Once a month consults as needed (minimum at 6 weeks, 6 months)

Pre-Treatment and Comfort
Clients should steer clear of harsh skincare products such as exfoliants, acids, and retinoids for at least a week pre-treatment. These sensitize the skin and can lead to more irritation after the procedure.
The Cosmelan® treatment is well-tolerated by most people and requires no anesthesia. That said, a topical numbing cream can be applied upon request if your skin is particularly sensitive.
What to Expect During and After Cosmelan®?
Cosmelan® treatments are customized based on your skin’s needs and long-term goals. That said, our providers keep some steps standard for consistency, effectiveness, and safety. Here’s what you can expect:
-
Consultation
We’ll discuss your goals and come up with a personalized treatment plan. Our providers will take into account your skin sensitivities and concerns, along with your history with hyperpigmentation.
-
Area Prepping
Our providers will cleanse the skin using gentle products to ensure there’s no dirt or lingering makeup left. This way, there won’t be a barrier between the skin and the product.
-
Mask Application
We will apply the mask evenly on the target area, depending on your needs. The solution will stay there for a few minutes until it dries sufficiently, after which you can go home. The solution remains on your skin for the next eight to 12 hours, after which you can remove it with a gentle facial cleanser and lukewarm water.
-
Home Treatment Instructions
You’ll be given the instructions on how to properly apply the Cosmelan® 2 cream and other products. This lets you reach optimal results without delay, with your skin gradually brightening with every application.
-
Recovery
Expect some mild redness over the next five to seven days, along with some dryness and a slight warming sensation. These effects are a sign that the mask is doing its job and has begun removing the damaged layers of the skin. Use a gentle moisturizer and avoid exfoliating products for the time being. Broad-spectrum sunblock is not just recommended, but essential.
-
Results
The timeline for the results depends on your level of pigmentation. Most clients notice significant improvement after two to three weeks, but the skin quality keeps improving over the next few months. Use the Cosmelan® 2 cream every day for best results.
