Yes, it’s actually common practice to combine HA fillers with PLLA fillers. This lets you get immediate volume but also boosts the collagen production in the long term. PLLA is added first into the deeper layers of the skin, followed by the HA in the superficial upper layers. You can get them in the first session, but, if possible, leave a few days between them for the skin to heal.
Yes, if you don’t like how you look with dermal fillers, you can opt for dissolving them. Keep in mind that this is only possible with hyaluronic acid fillers, where hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve the formula. CaHA and PLLA fillers can’t be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which means you’ll have to wait for them to naturally wear off.
Not in the slightest. Hyaluronic acid fillers like JUVEDERM® have lidocaine in their formula, which is a numbing agent. Once the product gets injected, it will immediately reduce discomfort. If you are sensitive to needles, we can use ice or a topical anesthetic to numb the area first.
